Top actress Pooja Gandhi will now appear in a dual role in Naa Rani, Nee Maharani, a remake of an old Kannada film titled Rani Maharani featuring Malashree.

Rani Maharani directed by Bharathi Shankar was a blockbuster. Now, director P Ramamurthy plans to replicate the success through Naa Rani, Nee Maharani. Akshay, Ramesh Bhat, Prameela Joshai, Sunder Raj, Biradar and Bank Janardhan are part of the star cast. The movie promises to be a laugh riot. It is being produced by Dream Creations.

S V Uday has written the dialogue while Vinaya Chandra has composed the music. Thriller Manju has directed exciting stunts for the movie.
