Upcoming actor Chetan, fresh from the success of Suryakanthi, in which he plays the role of a contract killer, has signed an untitled movie.

Chetan will be seen in a new look in this film in which he plays the role of an architect. The actor is being given a Victorian look for which he has to spend 2 months growing his facial hair!

This will be the fifth film for the US-returned actor in the last 2 years. The movie will be directed by Sharat Kadri. The rest of the star cast is yet to be finalized. The film will be shot extensively in Bangalore and abroad.

Ramesh’s film to hit theatres this week

Evergreen romantic hero Ramesh Aravind has made a successful transition to family-based comedy movies. His latest comedy film Preetiyinda Ramesh will hit the theatres this Friday.

The movie is about Ramesh’s journey on the internet in search of his life partner. The movie is directed by veteran Guna Kumar. He has also written the story and screenplay. Ramanithu Chaudhury is the female lead of the film.

The star cast includes Ananth Nag, Suma Guha and Kiran. A T Raveesh has scored the music for Preetiyinda Ramesh.

The actor’s previous two films were also based on comedy. Mooru Guttu, Ondu Sullu and Crazy Kutumba were considered success by the Kannada film industry. Will Preetiyinda Ramesh be a third consecutive this year?
