Debutante Madalasa Sharma will be starring opposite actor Darshan in Shourya directed by Sadhu Kokila. Madalasa has earlier debuted in Telugu in the film, Fitting Master, with Allari Naresh. A few stills of the film were released in the media recently. The pretty actress has already finished shooting for most of the film. Three songs of the film are yet to be shot and will begin filming from May 11 at Switzerland. Darshan and Madalasa will be doing three duet songs.

Shourya is the Kannada remake of the Telugu Hit Shouryam which had Gopichand and Anushka in the lead. Madalasa, whose real name is Mitti Sharma, is known by different names, such as Madala and Madalasa Sharma in the Tamil and Telugu industries. Meanwhile, she has finished shooting for producer K.T. Kunjumon’s Tamil film Kaadalukku Maranamillai. Kunjumon is known for his large-scale productions like Gentleman, Kaadalan and Rakshagan. She has recently signed on a new Hindi film for which she has already completed a few days of shooting.

Although Madalasa Sharma is Darshan’s heroine in the film, her main reason for being in the film is to add some much needed glamour to it. Reema Worah, another Bollywood actress, who was seen as the female lead in Anaji Nagaraj's Gubbi, which was directed by debutant Vijay, will be seen as Darshan’s sister in Shourya. However, it is her role that carries some weight and will test her acting abilities.
