Dileep has done something unusual. He has got together all prominent faces on the small screen and done a song sequence with them for his new film Kariyasthan, directed by debutant Thomson!

Remember Shah Rukh Khan did a similar thing, when he got the cream of Bollywood to do a song appearance in his Farah Khan directed Om Shanthi Om. More than 40 well known television serial star's appeared in the song. Dileep got the permission of serial artist’s organisation Athma to shoot the song.

Some of the Malayalam television stars who took part in the song sequence were Ravi Vallathol, Rajivrangan, Krishnaprasad, Yadhu Krishnan, Beena Antony, Thesni Khan, Maya Moushmi, Archana and Sreekala. Brinda Master choreographed the song, a peppy number sung by Benny Dayal and composed by Benny Ignatius.
